All University of Oregon students are required to attend an IntroDUCKtion orientation session prior to their first term. In rare cases a student with significant hardship can be granted an exception to attend a latecomer orientation session or modify their session as circumstances require.
All students who would like to request an exception must fill out the IntroDUCKtion Exception Request Form in its entirety. The request must come from the student; we cannot accept a request from a family member or supporter on their behalf.
Exception requests for summer IntroDUCKtion sessions will be reviewed beginning in mid-April 2025 and will be processed on a rolling basis. IntroDUCKtion registration opens on Monday, May 19, 2025.
